I stayed in the Standard Twin Room for one night, and it was super comfy! The bed felt amazing and the decor was lovely. Plus, the view from the room was fantastic—perfect for a quiet getaway. The bathroom was spotless too. It’s pretty neat that there's a fridge with fresh milk on the landing, a nice touch. Just a small miss—some biscuits would have been a sweet addition!

comfortable stay but missing a small treat
The house exudes comfort, set in picturesque countryside. Everything was spotless, and the shower room felt brand new. the garden view while enjoying morning coffee provided a pleasant start to the day.
A few biscuits would have made the welcoming atmosphere even better.

The community kitchen was a solid feature, letting me whip up a quick meal with ease. Plus, the outdoor views were quite pleasant—enjoying a cup of coffee while looking over the local orchards really hit the spot.
Navigating the narrow country roads to get here was a bit of a dance—might not be fun if you’re in a big rig. The shower had some hot water issues, and it’d be nice to see better locks on the rooms for more peace of mind. the provided mugs were hilariously poor quality—just felt off for any upscale place. Breakfast arrangements weren’t the smoothest. the timing was tricky, leaving me in a bit of a lurch. Finally, the complete absence of local tourist brochures made my exploration a hassle rather than a breeze.

I had a pure cracking time! The room was braw, with a comfy bed and a lovely view that made me feel right at home. Just a wee thing missing—some biscuits would’ve been nice with the tea. Otherwise, couldn’t ask for more!

It was just an optimal selection for a passing visit in Marden with extraordinarily good value for money. The community kitchen was a lifesaver, letting me make a quick meal after a long day. Consider bringing your own snacks, as some treats would have been nice to enjoy in the room.
